Round Duct Fabrication

Formmaster® Round Duct Fabrication Machinery comprises the following essential machines:

1. Rollformer Machine: This machine forms the parallel edges of the sheet metal cut-out into plain seams, double seams, or double seams on both sides.
2. Roll Bending Machine: The roll-formed sheet metal cut-out is then rolled into a cylindrical shell or round cylinder using a 3-roll bending machine, also known as a slip roll bending machine.
3. Lock Seam Closing Machine: This machine presses the interlocked pre-formed parallel edges of the curved sheet (cylindrical shell) together to produce a tightly pressed closed seam cylindrical shell.
4. Swaging & Beading Machine: These machines perform auxiliary operations such as beading, crimping, necking, and flanging on the round edge of the cylindrical shell.
5. Gorelocker Machine: Ideal for forming quality standing seam joints on round or circular sheet metal components, this machine is primarily used for making the elbow portion.
6. Plasma Cutting Machine: This machine cuts conductive materials like metal into various shapes and geometries with precision, allowing for the creation of complex contours in sheet metal for ductwork, such as elbow layouts and duct layouts.
