Rectangular Duct Fabrication

Formmaster® Rectangular Duct Fabrication Machinery includes the following essential machines:

1. Pittsburgh Lock Forming Machine: This fundamental machine is crucial for forming the Pittsburgh Lock Seam and Right-Angle Flange Seam along the parallel edges of the sheet metal cut-out.
2. Duct Beading Machine: It creates beads or grooves on the sheet metal cut-out, which enhance the structural strength of the duct.
3. TDF Flange Forming Machine: This machine forms the Transverse Duct Flange on edges adjacent to those with the Pittsburgh Lock Seam and Right-Angle Flange Seam. These flanges are used to connect duct sections.
4. TDF Folding Machine: This machine folds or bends galvanized sheet metal cut-outs, with pre-formed edges, into an L-shape. Available in both manual and pneumatic versions.
5. Pittsburgh Lock Seam Closer: An electric seamer used to close the interlocked Pittsburgh seam. A pneumatic version, in the form of an air hammer, is also available.
